Designing in the Studio

Over the River Studio was built in 2018 by Debra Mortimer. Years of entertaining, wedding and event planning along with sewing home decor left Debbie with a large stash of fabric, vases, dining linens, votive candles, and accent elements. She decided to sell some of these excess items on a crafters platform. Very quickly, as sales started to come in, she realized that many people shared her love of beautiful items for special events and to decorate their homes. Debbie started curating a collection of fabrics and items that have become the basis for the Studio now.

We work with wedding and event planners as well as interior designers from all over the country. We source beautiful, high quality items from some great companies. We especially enjoy creating amazing tabletops for your special day. 

Over the River Studio has grown and we now stock our items in a big warehouse at our Fresno, California location. All the table linens, including our exclusive Hot Pad Table Runner, are designed and hand sewn here in the Studio. The fabrics we use are not only beautiful but extremely durable. We know that creating a unique tablescape with  design items that you love will make each gathering and special event even more memorable for family and friends. We take pride in our quick shipping times to get your items to you as soon as possible.
